Ethan Atencio discovered Argentine Tango in September 2023, after a chance introduction at a Milonga social dance. He was immediately drawn to the challenge, connection, and creativity the dance offers—and hasn’t looked back since.

He began his training at Follow My Lead Studio by attending our weekly Tuesday Tango Nights with Kraig. Eager to deepen his skills, he pursued private lessons with Crystal and soon became a dedicated student, volunteering at the studio and immersing himself in the culture of community, connection, and Lead & Follow technique across multiple dance styles.

Over the course of five months, Ethan studied up to 10 hours a day, assisting Crystal and absorbing everything he could about the studio’s approach to dance and teaching. Today, he brings that same passion to his role as a part-time instructor, helping others discover the joy of movement.

In addition to teaching, Ethan owns and operates Gem State Clean, a professional housekeeping company. He offers exceptional service for Wedding Dance Lessons, Date Nights, and our signature Lead & Follow Private Lessons.

Ethan is kind, enthusiastic, and ready to help you take your first steps on the dance floor—or level up your skills with confidence and fun.

Private lessons are $65-$75/hour and can be held at either of the Follow My Lead Dance Studio locations.
